Last weekend, Easter weekend, Minnesota State University, Mankato held their first annual More Than Writing Conference. This event held some personal interest for us as two of our authors, Connie Colwell Miller and Scott R. Welvaert, had graduated from MSU, M’s Master of Fine Art program in Creative Writing.
The event received a nice write up up in the local paper, the Free Press, and they even quoted me. We also scheduled a reading for Scott and Connie, so their fellow alums could hear what they’ve been working on lately.
Now the only problem with attending such events is that I have another stack of books to add to my to-do pile.
